About the Science CampusThe Science Campus is being developed as library of resources for science, maths and technology subjects. The site was launched in September 2003 and is now listed in the open directory and on prominent educational websites such as FERL-BECTA and JISC. The site also has links from CISCO's global learning network The content and the level of material on the site will be quite diverse ranging from material of general interest to material specific to a particular exam board syllabus. The initial focus will be on material relevant to UK further education courses in physics, engineering and information technology. Obviously the theory for these particular courses will be relevant to other courses in the same subject area or for self study. The material currently being developed is for physics and electrical/electronic engineering courses. Contributions to the site are welcome. The development of the site is not constrained to a rigid plan and the above section just outlines the initial aims. In particular, interest from anyone who wishes to contribute to or produce a specific area of the site will obviously shape its development. |
